Sharad K Sharma is the Chief Human Resources & Ethics Officer for Pramerica Life Insurance since 2017. He has over 25 years of extensive HR experience across Banking & Financial Services, and Telecom & ITES. Sharad has held Senior HR Leadership roles in organizations like Vertex Group (UK), Max New York Life Insurance, Fidelity Investments, eFunds Corporation and Canon India. Before joining Pramerica Life Insurance, he served as the EVP & Chief People Officer, SBI Cards (JV between SBI & GE).
A certified OD practitioner from TISS, Mumbai, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management from University of Delhi, a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management from Rajendra Prasad Institute of Management, Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan & a Post Graduate Diploma in Training & Development from The Indian Society for Training & Development. He is also a Certified NLP Practitioner & Life Coach from Transformation Academy, Florida, USA.
Sharad has been awarded the Most Influential HR Leader in the Country by The Times Of India Ascent & World HRD Congress in the year 2016-2017 and was also bestowed with the HR Fellowship Award by The Times Of India Ascent & World HRD Congress in 2018 in recognition of his contribution in the Human Resources Domain.
