Vandana Mishra is the Officiating Chief Financial Officer for Pramerica Life Insurance since November 2023, in her previous profiles with the company she has managed different financial functions. She has extensive experience across sectors including Insurance, Microfinance, Financial Services, and Retail; her 22 years of experience in Finance includes Statutory Accounting, Banking, P&L Management, Financial & Management Reporting, Taxation Financial Planning & Analysis and MIS, including the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems, reporting of financial performance and Finance transformation.
Before joining Pramerica Life, Vandana worked with Bharti Walmart Pvt Ltd, a JV between Bharti Group & Walmart in Financial Reporting and Accounts Receivable for Retail and Cash-and-Carry stores. She also held the position of Accounts Head at dz card India Pvt Ltd (Credit Card manufacturing and Visa/Master certified service company). As Accounts Head for Cashpor Micro Credit (a microfinance institution), Vandana looked after the financial reporting and financial operations of the company. She has also worked as a practising Chartered Accountant.
Vandana, an IIM, Lucknow executive alumnus is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She is a B. Com (Hons) gold medalist from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.
