Pawan Kumar Sharma, the Appointed Actuary of Pramerica Life Insurance, heads the Actuarial and Product Development department. Pawan is a seasoned leader with proficient experience of nearly 15 years and has been associated with the Company since 2018. Pawan has a strong background in life insurance industry. Prior to his joining Pramerica Life Insurance, he was associated with Star Union Dai-ichi Life, Edelweiss Tokio Life, Canara HSBC OBC Life and Bajaj Allianz Life insurance.
He completed his M.Tech degree in Industrial Mathematics & Scientific Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and made considerable contribution in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics with his research papers published in different International Journals. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India and the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
